Vampirella _1 cover Forrest J Ackerman Frank FrazettaIn honor of my favorite month and season around the corner, let’s celebrate the 38th anniversary of Forrest Ackerman’s sexy comix creation, Vampirella. I have to say I never read ANY of the series that lasted until 1983, but the covers were unforgettable, especially the premier issue illustrated by none other than the immortal Frank Frazetta.
