how can such a great actor have such a terrible end career ? this guy hasn’t been in a good movie since… the russia house ? not to mention his regular fumbling of beloved properties (the avengers, league of extraordinary gentlemen)…

Look at the last film Gene Hackman did. WELCOME TO MOOSEPORT? blech. Personally, I like to remember THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS as his swan song.

yeah, and between unforgiven and the royal tenenbaums, he didn’t do much…. i guess the nineties were the killing joke for 60s/70s stars…
