christ, i spent like 10 minutes last night explaining this nonsense to my boy and some of his mates (not the blondie ‘rapture’, the biblical one), only to be told some variety of ‘that’s stupid’ after the effort, to which i then got to say an exasperated “I TOLD YOU SO”, but weirdly one boy kinda freaked out and got scared.

You should have just sat them down and shown them Michael Tolkin’s THE RAPTURE. They would have gotten it alright…
