Fuck The NRA

Another day, another gun massacre in America. I’m sure the NRA is already preparing their usual statement of denial as the blood pools around their feet. If only those immigrants had been armed….

  1. Who ever wrote this is a fucking faggot.

  2. Thanks for proving my point.

  3. HAHAHAHAHA! That was awesome.

    Wonder if that’s John Nolte.

  4. It’s funny, all you damn pacifists whine about how it’s the NRA’s fault that people die. You could kill someone with a kitchen knife, do you believe that we shouldn’t have the right to own those either. Jackass.

  5. George Harrison was stabbed with a knife and survived. John Lennon was shot to death. The teens at Columbine were not knifed. And so it goes.

  6. The NRA is responsible for thousands of gun-relate deaths each year. It’s not because they don’t shoot people themselves that they shouldn’t be held accountable. They help enable gun-related crimes by pushing for new legislation that helps put guns on the streets of America. Our “god-given” right to bear arms comes from a constitution that was written when people NEEDED guns. Who the hell NEEDS a gun these days? Wake up America!

  7. Well said. And in Tennessee, they’re ectstatic over new looser gun laws. These people are whacked — and their argument about owning guns is bullshit. Fort Hood soldiers and Tacoma officers weren’t able to stop those two mental loons with all their firepower.

    • Your so wrong. Not a law in the world will stop a massacre. LOOK at Brazil its a fuckin war zone, fuckin AKs and uzis everywhere more people have bullets in them than have transplant organs, but the gun laws there are tight as shit. In fact tightest in the world. Gun control doesn’t fuckin work DC banned pistols and many other guns, dude its the fuckin murder capital of the US. By passing gun laws you unarm the law abiding citizens and leave the guns on the fuckin streets. U think a FUCKING law stops gangsters from owning/carrying and using guns, they’ll carry them anyway. U think they giv a shit bout congress. I live in the UK, we banned pistols in 1997, since then pistol related crimes shot up by 40%. No fuckin surprise.

      • LONDON — At 9:35 a.m. on a March day in 1996, a disgruntled former scout leader walked into a primary school gym in Dunblane, Scotland, with four guns and killed 16 children and their teacher in Britain’s worst mass shooting. The crime still causes Britons to recoil when they recall the victims, many of them only 5 years old.

That rampage, with guns purchased legally — as were those used in last week’s killings at Virginia Tech — led to a near-total ban on handguns, and Britain’s current laws are considered among the most restrictive in the world. Days after the shooting, hundreds of thousands of people signed petitions demanding tougher gun control, and weeks later more than 22,000 illegal or unwanted guns, and nearly 700,000 rounds of ammunition, were turned in to authorities under a special amnesty.

Mick North, the father of 5-year-old Sophie North, one of the victims at Dunblane, said in an interview that he has no doubt the restrictive gun laws in England have prevented further shooting rampages. He said that after the Columbine massacre eight years ago, in which two teenagers fatally shot 12 students, a teacher and themselves at a Colorado high school, “you would have expected some kind of change” in U.S. gun laws.

“All gun crime did not cease” when England banned handguns, he said. But he added, “There is no doubt at all that the more guns there are, the more people get killed by them.”

When we are presented with a figure for gun deaths (for USA) it comes out at something horrific like 11’000 i think. Now this figure sits all to easily upon the simple mind of an angry pacafist. If they bothered to properly inspect the origins of that figure they would find an enormous proportion of those deaths are in fact: suicides (80%), accidents, self deffence and commited with ILLEGAL weapons. The bulk of shootings happen in the Ghettos (amongst socially and ecconomically deprived young men) and with drug lords on the southern border, not amongst law abiding citizens. Criminals are people who don’t obey laws, thats why they are called criminals, so passing a law does nothing. Please don’t throw away your essential liberties it happened to us and it makes me very sad. Also the Hungerford Masacre (1988, Britain) was committed with a legalaly aquired weapon that was modified in such a way that it breached the existing legislation. And tit was a mere fluke that the man who carried out the Dumblane massacre was allowed to retain his firearm certificate.

    • christian Says:

You make calm points but I don’t accept gun massacres just because they’re “In The Ghetto.” We’re all affected and conected by these events. And yearly uyou can count on three or four or more shooting sprees. And why aren’t any of these people stopped by a gun owner? Police, guards and soldiers are being shot down in our streets. And the massacres in Mexico are abated by AMERICAN weapons. And that violence is spreading here.

  9. Chad Hawking Says:

Yeah, well I’m not going to argue about gun crime in the U.S you will know more. I believe that stupid rap and hip hop music with lyrics like “Niggas gonna die” that glamourises guns and the gangster lifestyle is much more of a proplem than people who promote responsible gun ownership and use (the NRA). Hold them accountable not the NRA they just want to be left alone.

    • The NRA is one of the biggest Washington lobby orgs ever. So when I hear this weirdly anti-patriotic fear of the government (created by Washington, Benjamin, etc) who’ll take away guns, why listen to the NRA? And whenever there’s a gun massacre, the NRA jumps up to defend guns.

  10. Read any firearms legislation and it will say something along the lines of “for the protection of the people” or words to that effect. Believe that and your a fool. The first fireamrs laws in Briatin were thought of around the end of WW1 (as a result of Russian revolution and Ireland) and published in about 1920. A 70 year closure was put on it and it was eventually leaked to the press in 1988. It basically outlined that these laws were put in place to stop an uprising and supress any resistance. There was an outrage and another 30 year closure was put on the legislation. This is the same reason why any nation has introduced firearms legislation including the regimes of Stalin, Hitler, Castro, British rule in India, Mao Zedong, Pol Pot, Edi Imean and Kim Jo il. Do you really think it’s there to protect you? Its all been highly edited by spin doctors and other liars to bullshit the naive public. Guns are the tools to freedom, when the citizenry is disarmed it is no longer a free society but an elected dictatorship. It’s anevident sign of oppression. I will not have another human being talling me how, when or even if I can deffend myself.

    • too many solutions in search of problems Says:

So if you believe personal liberty to self-defend in any way you see fit is so crucial to our already hate-filled world, you should have the right to own nukes too, right? Seriously, your primative, gun-fetishist, fucktard ways are why the world is brimming with so much evil!

  11. Washington D.C. had a handgun ban from 1977 to 2009 and during the 80’s and 90’s it was the murder capital of the world. We even had a nightly show for years highlighting the violence of outlaws who carried handguns.

In Maryland I was carjacked by a minority who had an illegally concealed handgun. I cannot carry a concealed handgun in Maryland.

Gun laws help only one class of people… Criminals. I am not unreasonable however in the wake of so many insane shootings. As a responsible and sane gun owner, I would be willing to undergo psychological screening before taking possession of any gun. Perhaps that may be the answer. The Second Amendment is clear, the right to keep and bear arms should be guaranteed providing you are not a criminal or psychopath.

  12. as you know i’m no pro-guns at all and in europe, we have rules against that. i m not sure a psych test can be the solution, even if i think it’s one way to do it. i mean : psychopaths can be pretty good liars, and ANYBODY can turn into a criminal, through pain, sorrow, suffering or just plain stupidity (not to mention mental collapse). these tests would need to be re enacted every year or so. that would mean more jobs, but one hell of an administration. a society that can only provides its own security through violence is doomed. we all know that. true civilization is attained through counsciousness, not violence. if we are stuck at violence level, even if it s justified because of a “the others are disrespectful / bad and my individuality shall prevail over them”, then we’ll sink. hell, we are sinking.

  13. Chad Hawking Says:

D.C is a good example. I’m sure if one is going to commit a crime the last thing they would do is aquire a gun legally, they would seek an untracable gun from other sources. Concealed carry is a good idea. Others have said to me that it is a moronic thing to permit criminals to llegally carry guns, I have said “do you think a criminal in the right mind will openly announce to the state governmnet that they carry a gun (and alert the authorities), further they will posses a registered gun with a serial number and submit to a background check” It’s like a gun wielding criminal willingly going into a police station and saying “hey I carry a gun etc. etc.” and telling them the model serial no. point of purchase. Please tell me if you agree with me.

  14. He who say fuck the NRA must be living in the White House

    • christian Says:

Wiouldn’t you if you were getting a 400 percent increase in death threats? And gee, maybe the fact that presidents tend to find themselves at the end of a barrel might factor…

      • jkeeling Says:

there is no acceptable % of threats … but I’d like to know where the 400% figure comes from. In my reading there was a early spike, and now the threats against Obama are ~equivalent to his predecessors.

        • christian Says:

“Since Mr Obama took office, the rate of threats against the president has increased 400 per cent from the 3,000 a year or so under President George W. Bush, according to Ronald Kessler, author of In the President’s Secret Service.

Some threats to Mr Obama, whose Secret Service codename is Renegade, have been publicised, including an alleged plot by white supremacists in Tennessee late last year to rob a gun store, shoot 88 black people, decapitate another 14 and then assassinate the first black president in American history.”

And with the rash of anti-government killings as the DHS predicted to the freak-out of the right, things are only gonna get worse. Tho I hope not.

          • jkeeling Says:

“The threats have leveled off in recent months, officials said, and Mr. Obama now receives about the same as his two most recent predecessors.”

            • christian Says:

John, if you haven’t been logging the plane crashings and the shootings, all at the feet of libertarian right wingers….So it’s okay that Obama had an increased level of threats? Gun and bullet sales are skyrocketing — why? Besides the Mexican drug cartels need for them, I mean…

            • jkeeling Says:

I questioned where the 400% figure came from –nothing further should be read into that. I made it perfectly clear that there is no acceptable level of threat. The spike cited in the NYT article probably maps to 400%. You failed to note in your post that this figure was transient.
