  1. No comments? Poor LASERBLAST.

I’d say more, but I haven’t seen it. I do remember reading about it in Starlog, though. Something about stop-motion aliens.

  2. I thought I’d let my eclectic audience pick up the bal, but alas, I musta been the only one here who saw LASERBLAST opening weekend. A fun old-skool sci-fi flick with fantastic David Allen/Jim Danforth stop-motion (and boy do the aliens look like ET!)

There is one undisputedly great scene in LASERBLAST — when the alien villain blasts apart a STAR WARS billboard. The audience laughed and cheered.

  3. Never seen Laserblast. From the promo it appears that Mark Hamill *corrects* an alien invasion amid a five day bender.

  4. Strangely enough, Kim Milford, the lead in LASERBLAST, also played Mark Hamill’s road opponent in CORVETTE SUMMER (1978)

  5. I saw “Laserblast”(& “Corvette Summer” for that matter), but honestly I can’t remember any of “Laserblast” except that thing on his arm and, I think, the alien hardware possessing his mind or something. Anyway, nice piece of ’70’s B-movie poster memorabilia there.

Also, just noticed Eddie Deezen’s name on the poster. Awesome. I may have to go & rent this one.

  6. Isn’t GIANNI RUSSO Talia Shire’s abusive husband in The Godfather?

That guy RUUUUUUUUUUUULES. Want to see this.

What about GOLDENGIRL? Wasn’t that around the same time? Curt Jurgens and… Susan Anton?

  7. This is it! This is what it was called! I remember this horrible movie in one of those summers in Sacramento, eating rasinettes walking out thinking, for the first time in my life, that I watched an awful move. Since then, I have wanted to see it again because it was one of those iconic awful movies of your childhood.
